TRA-MINW is seeking a board certified/board eligible CAQ certified or eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our 14 member section for a two-year to partnership track position.
TRA-MINW is a progressive, private practice of approximately 90 sub-specialists in and around the Puget Sound, centered in Tacoma and extending from Seattle to Olympia. We own 9 outpatient imaging centers. We also provide professional services for all 11 hospitals within our territory, specifically St. Joseph Medical Center, Tacoma General Hospital, Allenmore Hospital, and Mary Bridge Pediatric Hospital in Tacoma, Highline Medical Center in Burien, St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup as well as St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, Oregon. We are also partners with the Carol Milgard Breast Center and Union Avenue Open MRI in Tacoma and we have reading contracts for several multi-specialty medical groups and non-hospital based medical providers.
The practice reads cases from a common work list shared among approximately 40 reading sites with a diverse and stimulating case load. The practice footprint enables radiologists to select a lifestyle consistent with their personal tastes, with the ability to choose between urban and rural living among several communities of different sizes in the area.
This position is available due to expanding work volume and in anticipation of retirements among senior partners. We perform a broad range of procedures including interventional oncology (TACE, Y90, RFA, microwave, cryoablation), diagnostic biopsies, vertebral augmentation, thrombolysis, uterine fibroid embolization, dialysis and vascular access and we serve two level 2 trauma centers with associated trauma embolizations and interventions. We also solely own an outpatient IR clinic where we do a variety of outpatient procedures including chest ports, IVC filter retrievals, CT and ultrasound guided biopsies, varicose vein therapies, endovascular interventions, pain injections and vertebral augmentation. As an integral part of the medical community, we provide IR consultation services as well as longitudinal post procedure care. We have 5 PA's, 1 ARNP and 1 RA who perform minor procedures, see clinic patients and round on inpatients as well as assist on weekend IR call. Some general diagnostic (non-mammography) radiology work is required.
